More than a meal...it's part of the recipe for senior independence.

Kitchen Campaign Successful

Thanks to a caring community that values it’s seniors, Council on Aging’s Kitchen Campaign to build the new Meals on Wheels Kitchen successfully raised over 3.5 million dollars.
The new kitchen began operation June 4th, 2007.

Amounts received over the $3.5 million will help to defray the $250,000 additional expense to install a generator, which will enable the kitchen to serve the community in the event of a disaster.
