Your support makes a huge difference in the lives of seniors here in our community.
The Council on Aging receives about thirty-five percent of the money we need to provide services from the federal government. The rest comes from grants, client donations, foundation and corporate gifts, fundraisers, bequests, and donations from the community. There are investment and entrepreneurial opportunites, too.
Even doing something fun and entertaining can generate money for Council on Aging programs. Consider walking in the Human Race for Council on Aging. Our annual Derby Day fundraiser benefits Meals on Wheels and other senior services. Proceeds from the Sonoma County Medical Association Alliance Spring Garden Tour and The Redwood Empire Harley Owner Group “Summer Run for Meals on Wheels” benefit the Meals on Wheels program for seniors throughout Sonoma County, with the exception of Petaluma.
Our programs provide valuable services to over 1,400 seniors each day. We greatly appreciate any contributions that will help our seniors of Sonoma County.
